Started scanning in ultrasound in 1994. Worked as an Ultrasound Application Specialist for 4 years covering the whole Asia Pacific Region and was based in Singapore.
Moved to Australia in 2003 and became a Sonographer at Nepean Public Hospital doing general ultrasound. However., my passion and expertise is in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, so I moved to Perinatal Ultrasound Department in 2007 as one of the Senior sonographers. I have worked in both public and private practices. I have co-authored research that has been published in AJUM and now in PUBMED.
I am happily married with two children.

Over the years, she has worked in Genea and Primary IVF Clinics, private gynaecological practices and breast screening centres in Sydney. Also, trained and worked in general ultrasound. She has extensive experience in these fields over the past 20 years and continues to enjoy all aspects of ultrasound particularly in women’s health. If she is not at work, she can be found enjoying time in her garden.
Donna Gordon: Medical Receptionist
I have been working in specialist diagnostic obstetric and gynaecologic medical reception for four years. I started working in administration as school leaver in 1979 and spent several years working fulltime until I had children. I then continued part time and then shifted my career toward working in childcare as my children were growing up.
I moved to Australia with my twin sons in 2008 to become a full time “nanny” to my three oldest grandsons.
Four years ago, I moved back into administration work. As a mother of four and Grandmother of five, I have empathy, understanding and have personal experience to share with patients attending our clinic. I enjoy working in Obstetrics and gynaecological reception; I value the intimacy of small specialised clinics where you can form warm reciprocal relationships with patients, staff and medical practitioners.
